Print Mediums
There are a variety of print medium options for your original abstract art prints as follows:
Gloss Photo Paper
High quality gloss photo paper is of archival standard. This medium can be framed in the usual way or
mounted of Face Up Acrylic or Aluminium.
Metallic Photo Paper
Semi gloss metallic finish photo paper of archival standard. This paper requires specialised printing ink
and the effect is to give added depth and dimension to the finished print. Provides a truly stunning
finish. The paper has what could be described as a metallic sheen almost like a pearlised effect. Can
be framed in the usual way or mount on Face Up Acrylic or Aluminum.
Canvas
The image printed on canvas takes on the texture of the canvas surface. Unlike photo paper prints, the canvas
print finish is available in canvas natural finish only. The canvas is sprayed with a lacquer to provide protection
from handling, stretching and environmental conditions.
As with any artwork, canvas transfers should be kept out of direct sunlight and require the same basic care that
you would give any other quality print.
The standard canvas transfer will have a border of approximately 50mm (2 inch) on all four sides of the image to
allow for framing.
Please advise if you want the border plain coloured or white. If you prefer an “image wrap” where the image
itself is wrapped around the edges of the frame (50mm, 2 inch) please note in your email. Be aware that you will
‘lose’ part of the image from the front surface.
